| Blocked - Poem by Gerard Geiger |

Blocked Rump wasting the space of bench. Grey matter encased in bone shell. Neurons transmitting sparks from nerve endings. Fizzling, quenched by condensed space of saturated life of vapid thoughts and vague memories of this morning, rather than yesterday, with little hope for tomorrow. Seeking rest, yet without effort and minimal commitment for sleeping or waking. content in the nowhere life of being without having to be. Trying to create without needing to create. Searching for reasons when reasons are not necessary, where meaning is the most creative product gleaned from existence. When thoughts and thought processes are as delicate and permanent as vapor.
